This Privacy Policy describes how the Speedometer GPS mobile application ("the App") collects, uses, and discloses information. This App is developed and published by Shahid ("we", "us", "our").

Information We Collect

1. Location Data

The App uses your device's GPS to calculate and display your current speed, and to record your trip route on the map. Location data is:

• Used only while the App is active and a trip is being tracked.
• Stored locally on your device (trip history, route points, speed statistics) and is never uploaded to our servers, because we do not operate any servers that store your data.
• Not shared with any third party except as described in the Advertising section below.

2. Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following information locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage:

• Trip history (date, time, distance, average/maximum speed, route points)
• App settings (speed unit preference, language, voice announcement settings)

This data stays on your device. If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted. We do not have access to it.

3. Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and use data (such as advertising identifiers and general device information) to show relevant ads and measure ad performance, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can review and adjust your ad personalization settings through your device's Google Settings.

4. Permissions Used

• Location: required to calculate speed and record trips.
• Internet: required to display advertisements.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not require account creation or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
